Event marketing is key to successfully building relationships and meeting new potential buyers and sellers. There are several categories of events. These can be events that you create, promote, and manage yourself, events created by others that you can sponsor, or small gatherings of groups you select from a list.
Here are monthly party and event ideas to keep your pipeline flowing all year long.
November: Host a “Happy New Year” party or a “How to Make Your Home Wintery” video message. If a snowstorm hits where you live, make a video about preparedness, emergency systems, where to get the best snow blower, and more. In the South? Consider a fun run for charity.
2. February: Use Red Hot Candy as a pop-by gift with the message, “It may be cold outside, but the market is red!” Or, “I love referral business!” Hand out candy hearts or heart candles. These can be used for door knocks, lead follow-ups, open house giveaways, closing tables, and more. Take them to your new home builder’s representative and ask for resale referrals.
3. March: Think tax season, free CMAs, and last year’s financial statements you can send to your clients. Send a video email providing the latest market analysis and follow up with a phone call. That market analysis can be a direct event.
4. April: “Buy and sell with me and adopt a pet for free” promotion. Work with the ASPCA or local shelter for specific formats. They promote this through press releases and events such as PetSmart introduction days. Promote your event through videos submitted to your database. Then invite people by calling them individually. Post it on social media, of course. This is the type of event that attracts a lot of media attention.
5. May: Encourage those around you to join you in the Memorial Day parade, especially if you’re in the military or a town with a lot of historical sites and homes. Join an existing parade and hand out candy, water bottles, American flags, and more. Create a Facebook Live session or video about VA loans and how they work. Before your open house, knock on your neighbors’ doors with red, white, and blue candy and flags.
6. June: Let’s hold a “Paper & Pancake Paper Shredding Party”! Rent a shredding truck and pancake food truck to host a shredding party at your office. event center or clubhouse. This gives amazing results and doesn’t cost much.
7. July: Host a party prepared for natural disasters. Provides tips to prepare for natural disasters that are common in your area. We also carry out fundraising activities after a disaster occurs. You can also do this door knocking or ask people to drop off donations at your office or home office. Please report on this well through your local newspapers and television stations.
8. August: please cooperate with american red cross For blood donation. You can also expect them to bring the BloodMobile to your location and maximize turnout.
9. October: We will be holding a pumpkin festival! ! Host events at your home, clubhouse, school, library, recreation center, and more. Buy pumpkins wholesale in September and invite your neighborhood, community, sphere of influence, and more. This is always a very popular event. Serve apple cider or partner with a local coffee house to participate in your event. Think of someone in your database who owns a bakery, coffee shop, or other business you could support.
November 10th: Host a Thanksgiving food drive. You can promote this on your website, Facebook page, Instagram, etc. Send a press release to local media. Partner with existing food pantries and churches for additional support and coverage. You can also host a “Friendgiving” event at your home or at a local restaurant. Ask your local elementary school, church, or synagogue to find a family in need and sponsor a surprise turkey dinner.
11. December: Host a holiday toy drive. Work with your local police or fire department to pick up the toys, or ask a past customer or associate to deliver the toys to your home or office. Send thank you cards and highlight your efforts and donors on Facebook.
12. December:(There are so many opportunities this month!) Plan a gift wrapping party. This is one of the most popular projects for our coaching clients and has generated many listings. We use the slogan, “Don’t be fooled by the wrong real estate agent.” Adhere the card to a roll of simple wrapping paper. Add a gift sticker wrapped in ribbon and the slogan, “We’re here for all your real estate needs!” Add a candy cane and you’re ready to deliver to your neighborhood or farm, use at open houses, stop by past customers as a drop-in, and more. Take the customer to an expired list or her FSBOS.
Bonus!
If someone invites you to a party or event in Q4, play the “yes” game. This means saying yes to everything, even if you don’t want to go. To get the results you want with this spoke, you’ll need to make more contacts, more often than you think.
