The Camel Project is hosting its first Family Science Night at Goggleworks Arts Center.
Participants will be able to work in family groups to create spin art science projects to take home after the event.
The free event, titled “Get Kids & Parents Excited About All Things STEM,” will be held Oct. 26 at 5:30 p.m. as part of National Bullying Awareness Month by The Camel Project.
National Bullying Awareness Month, which runs through October, is used to encourage action at the local level to create safe and supportive organizations.
The Camel Project works to support individuals and organizations to change the culture of bullying and unacceptable behavior that leads to violence, trauma and abuse.
“Our mission is to eliminate bullying behavior, and one of our ways is to build stronger relationships within families,” said Pamela S. Gockley, Founder and Executive Director of the Camel Project. I am. “What could be better than creating a spin art machine as a family?”
This activity will be led by Science Explorers, an experiential science education company dedicated to providing opportunities for children ages 4 to 11 to participate in science.
This event is free for families.
Registration required.
