Web searches for beef, The Eras Tour, and the TV show “The Last of Us” topped Google’s annual search summary list in the Los Angeles area.
The search engine company compiled data for the Los Angeles area to show residents what the most popular inquiries are in the area.
In the LA area, beef was the most searched topic on Google. The report also shows that the Los Angeles area ranks No. 1 in the nation for web inquiries, but does not specify whether the term refers to Netflix shows or meat. .
Los Angeles was also the only location in the U.S. where the Argentina vs. Curaçao soccer match appeared at the top of trending searches.
Angelenos also frequently searched for tours near Los Angeles this year.
Taylor Swift’s “The Elas Tour,” Drake’s “It’s All A Blur Tour,” Peso Pluma’s “Dobre P Tour,” Beyoncé’s “The Renaissance Tour,” Luis Miguel’s “2023 Tour” is the top 5 “tour” search trend in the Los Angeles area.
Google inquiries for TV shows were also popular in the LA area in 2023, with HBO’s “The Last of Us” leading the way, followed by Netflix’s “Beef” and HBO’s “The Idol.”
