The student’s name has not been released. She was airlifted to the hospital by county police helicopter, said Nassau Police Det. Spokesperson. Lieutenant Richard LeBlanc. She was listed in stable condition Tuesday night, police said.
The boy was struck on Division Avenue north of Church Road by a 34-year-old man driving a 2016 Mazda, according to a police news release. He remained at the scene.
