A former factory and current post office in Southern County have been sold for more than $1 million each.
The Post-Journal and Observer analyze real estate sales in Chautauqua County, most recently looking at real estate sales from May 11 to May 18.
During that period, Lakewood New York LLC of Burton, Ohio sold 2 Fairmount Avenue in Lakewood to APIF – New York LLC of Foster City, California for $1,525,000. That is the address of the Lakewood Post Office.
In a separate sale, Lexington Machining LLC of Rochester sold 201 Winchester Road, Lakewood, to 201 Winchester Road LLC, Tonawanda, for $1.4 million. That is the address of the former Premier Lakewood Company.
Premier Lakewood, which recycled aluminum for cars and other products, closed in 2014. This factory has been in Lakewood since 1946. The building was most recently used for warehouse purposes by Busch Industries.

In March, ZTS Development LLC of Rochester, owned by Allen Steinberg, was approved by the Chautauqua County Industrial Development Authority for a $400,000 loan to purchase the plant. County IDA Director Mark Geis confirmed this week that 201 Winchester Road is owned by Steinberg.
There were other commercial sales as well.
In Dunkirk, 744 Central Ave. was sold to Botox Barn, LLC of South Dayton for $165,000. This was the previous location of His North Chautauqua Dental, which moved in 2022. Botox Burn and Wellness now operates there, offering medical spa services.
In Westfield, 77 E. Main St. was sold to Barresi Enterprises, LLC of Westfield for $80,000. This is the location of CJ Pizza, a storefront business downtown.
Including the two sales mentioned above, there were eight sales of $250,000 or more from May 11th to May 18th. The remaining 6 items for sale are as follows.
