WEST SALEM, Wis. (WXOW) – In their only home event, the Jim Drews and Tori Neubauer Invitational, the Eagle men and women literally captured cross country titles.
The top UW-L men’s athlete was Isaac Wegner, who ran the 8,000 meters in 25:20.5. They won the team title with 32 points, with the next closest being Paradise Valley with 113 points.
The top UW-L girls was Maddie Hannan, who took second place with a time of 22:38.1. The girls team won the team title with 27 points, well ahead of second-place St. Olaf, who had 146 points.
