It’s a great way to spend a day together at a reasonable price. This is to capture the imagination of local youth,” said Jason Jones, PT&A committee chair and event founder. He added, “We’re very excited to be working with the Tampa Bay Aviation Association again. With their help, we’re adding aviation scholarships and other opportunities to the event’s perks. It’s truly a great partnership.”
Planes, trains, and automobiles are managed by the Tampa Bay Aviation Association and provided by the Tampa International Airport. As Mr. Jones noted, in addition to promoting and conducting this great community event, the organization receives donations and uses the after-costs proceeds to fund aviation scholarships and other programs for local youth.
