Saudi Arabia’s leading low-cost airline Flynas has announced the introduction of direct flights between Riyadh and Bahrain.
This latest network addition is scheduled to launch on November 15 and will further the company’s strategy to boost tourism in the Middle East.
Gateway to Bahrain
Flynas has been actively developing its regional and international route network and is now launching direct flights between the capital of Saudi Arabia, Riyadh, and the beautiful island nation of Bahrain in the Persian Gulf.
With a strong seven weekly flights, this new route is set to become a key link between the two countries.
Bahrain joins the network
The inclusion of Bahrain on Flynas’ growing list of regional destinations is testament to the company’s commitment to providing accessible travel options.
Travelers can now easily travel between Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport and Bahrain International Airport.
The addition of Bahrain’s capital to Flynas’ network is in line with the airline’s broader growth and expansion strategy introduced last year under the slogan “We Connect the World to the Kingdom.”
This milestone is not only the result of flynas’ ambition, but also a collaborative effort. Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority collaborated with Flynas to make this initiative a reality.
This is a great example of how government authorities and private companies can work together to strengthen the tourism industry.
Local tourist destinations
The recently signed Memorandum of Understanding between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain signals a unified approach to promoting the two kingdoms as a single tourist destination.
By joining forces, these countries aim to revitalize their tourism industries and encourage more travelers to explore the rich culture and attractions their countries have to offer. This cooperative effort is expected to open new horizons for both countries.
Flynas: A growing force
Flynas is a rising star in aviation. Since its launch in 2007, it has served more than 60 million passengers with connections to more than 70 domestic and international destinations and more than 1,500 weekly flights.
The airline’s ambitious goal is to expand further and reach 165 domestic and international destinations.
These aspirations are closely aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to diversify the Saudi economy and reduce dependence on oil.
Awards and accolades
Flynas’ success has gone unnoticed. The company has consistently won prestigious international awards, including the Skytrax International Award for Best Low-cost Airline in the Middle East in 2023. A stunning 6 consecutive wins.
It also received a ranking as the fourth best low-cost airline in the world. These honors reflect Flynas’ commitment to providing quality service to passengers.
In addition, Flynas won the World Travel Awards’ Best Low-cost Airline Award in the Middle East for the ninth consecutive year in 2023.
These awards speak volumes about the company’s unwavering dedication to excellence in the aviation industry.
APEX rating
Flynas received an impressive 4-star rating in a comprehensive evaluation conducted by APEX, a prestigious international aviation association representing 600 airlines from around the world.
This places Flyna in the best category among low-cost airlines in the world. Such recognition is a testament to Flynas’ dedication to providing a first-class travel experience.
