UW men’s basketball coach Dan Hurley will be featured on CBS Sports’ “Home Court” series. Former Villanova coach and current analyst Jay Wright interviews Hurley.
The episode featuring Hurley kicks off the “Home Court” series, which spotlights the head coaches of the nation’s top programs. San Diego State head coach Brian Dutcher and Indiana Hoosiers head coach Mike Woodson were the other two coaches selected.
The New Jersey native led UConn to the program’s fifth national title. The 2023 National Championship banner was unveiled during the Huskies’ season opener.
He comes from a line of great basketball players, including his father, Bob Sr., a Naismith Hall of Famer.
Dan’s younger brother, Bobby, was a two-time NCAA champion at Duke and played five seasons in the NBA. Bobby currently coaches the Arizona State Sun Devils.
According to CBS Sports, Hurley will talk about being a former college basketball player at Seton Hall (1991-96), his family growing up in basketball, and his mindset as a 2023 NCAA title contender.
Hurley’s one-hour episode will air on Friday, Nov. 10 at 11 p.m. on the CBS Sports Network.
