Bahrain, November 9: Bahrain Kraal organization held the Kumba Trophy 2023 cricket tournament at the Rafa Club Stadium in the city. Hundreds of cricket lovers watched the match.
The tournament started at 6am and continued until midnight. Twelve men’s teams and four women’s teams from Karnataka participated in the competition. The Bant Bahrain team won both the men’s and women’s categories. The Bahrain Krals team finished as runners-up in both categories.
The tournament was held under the leadership of Bahrain Khulal Chairman Guruprasad Ekkar. Anil Das, an achiever from the Kural community, and Chandappa Mooriya, former deputy commander of BSF and MD of Amulya Gas Agency, were the chief guests.
Mr. Mohammed Mansoor, Chairman of Bahrain Cricket Board Advisory Committee, Mr. Amarnath Rai, Former President of Kannada Sanga, Mr. Austin Santosh, Mr. Rajkumar, Mr. Rajesh Shetty, Mr. Satish Acharya, Vishwakarma Seva・President Balaga, Mr. Harish Poojary, President of Bahrain Billabas, Mr. Roopesh Suvarna, General Secretary, Former President Ajit Bangera, Arun Shetty, President of Bantu Bahrain, Asif, Regional Director of Al Hilal Hospital, D. Ramesh , Vijaya Naik, Amit Devadiga of Tulcinemaranga.com, Nagaraj, Ganesh Manila, Radhakrishna Kural, Bahrain Kural Executive Management Committee were also present.
Ganesh Manila and Vishara Kishore introduced Anil Das and Chandappa Mooriya, the achievers of Kurara society. Both were blessed.
Both achievers said, “The work of Bahrain Kraal in organizing such a wonderful tournament deserves recognition. Through tournaments like this, relationships between people become stronger. It unites us. .”
Delivering the introductory speech, Mr. Guruprasad Ekal expressed his gratitude to all the sponsors and volunteers who worked hard to organize the tournament in a great manner. All were presented with souvenirs. The winners were presented with a trophy and a cash prize.
Jayaraj won the award for best male fielder, Disil won the award for best batsman and Sunil Kral won the award for best bowler. Bharath Shetty was awarded the Most Valuable Player Award in the final. Sunil Kral won the Man of the Series award.
In the women’s category, Veera Korda was awarded the Best Fielder Award, Kaviya Badni the Best Batsman Award and Sai Palki the Best Bowler Award. Pavithra Shetty won the Best Player of the Final Award and Sai Palki won the Best Female Series Award. Kamalaksha Amin compared the valedictorian ceremony.
