Brian S. Seymour, 54, Altoona, died Friday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, the son of Eugene and Virginia “Mickey” (Kurland) Seymour.
Brian is survived by his parents; his two brothers, Craig E. Seymour (his fiancée, Judy) and Corey J. Seymour (Rhonda), all of Altoona; best friend Sherry Brandt (Tom); niece, Brandi R. Rupert (fiancé, Sam); nephew, Andrew R. Rupert (Emily); his dog, Ricky; sons, Zachary A. Seymour (Addie) of Washington, D.C. and Derek J. Seymour (fiancé, Lauren) of Altoona; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Tricia A. Rupert. and his nephew Brendan M. Seymour.
Brian was a graduate of Altoona Regional High School.
He was a member of the Bavarian Aid Society and a former member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Brian loved collecting coins, painting, and collecting crystals.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Lubomir Strecock officiating. The swearing-in ceremony will be held at Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Stevens Mortuary Inc., 1421 Eighth Ave., Altoona.
