The Crown Prince of Bahrain strongly condemned the Hamas resistance operation on October 7, which was carried out in response to decades of bloodshed and destruction against the Palestinian people by the Israeli regime.

The Israeli regime has since placed the Gaza Strip, home to Hamas, under a relentless genocidal war that has killed more than 12,000 Palestinians, including more than 5,000 children.
The regime has also cut off the flow of basic goods such as water, electricity, medicine and fuel to one of the world’s most densely populated areas, home to more than 2 million Palestinians.
Prince Salman’s comments came amid international protests by thousands of people and statements from world political leaders condemning the Israeli regime’s military operation.

Since the outbreak of the Israeli war, hundreds of Bahrainis have taken to the streets across the island, calling for a reversal of détente.
Meanwhile, Bahraini officials insisted that a hostage exchange was the only way to achieve the cessation of violence needed to provide humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza.
Late last month, Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar said he was willing to exchange Hamas prisoners with Israel “immediately” but the regime was at an impasse.
