Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani reiterated Bahrain’s firm position on a two-state solution to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict during the 19th Manama Dialogue Conference.
Dr. Al Zayani stressed the critical need for immediate humanitarian assistance, provision of basic services, hostage release and joint efforts to stop the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip, adding that a two-state solution is essential to resolving the conflict. argued that it was necessary.
The remarks were made at the second plenary session of a conference themed “Navigating Global Competition.”
Dr. Al Zayani praised the opening speeches by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and addressed Israel’s security concerns to prevent the region from remaining on the brink of conflict and instability. He further emphasized the importance of awareness.
Reflecting on the historical competition for land, resources and influence in the Arabian Gulf and the Middle East, Dr. Al Zayani said the region’s enduring struggles have been influenced by the political, diplomatic and economic policies adopted by countries within and outside the Middle East. He pointed out that this was caused by military strategy. east.
He emphasized that the continuing complexity and comprehensiveness of this competition is leading to conflict, instability, human suffering and hindering development.

Dr Al Zayani said Bahrain values mutual respect, dialogue and tolerance.

Further commenting on the deep-seated challenges of the Middle East region, the Foreign Ministers emphasized the need to address the presence of violent non-state actors and proxy groups that contribute to instability, sectarianism and rising tensions in the region. did.
