The United in Peace Community Walk at George Isey Park may have earned its place in Burbank history (and rightly so), but across the street from Nickelodeon Studios Another event was being held. The 22nd Annual All-His Chevrolet Vintage Car Show held at Community Chevrolet on Sunday, November 19th drew a large crowd to its fascinating automobile collection.
Fleet Manager Bob Green said: We’ve been doing this for 22 years. Thankfully, this year was our biggest year yet with 125-130 cars. So the original owner 22 years ago is the one who actually started this. We basically do it for the Chevrolet community and for the community here in Burbank. There is no charge to host a show here. We do this to help this particular car club. It’s actually the San Fernando Valley Vintage Chevrolet Car Club. ”
exclaimed Community Chevrolet dealer Chad Kellman. As well as showing off some great pieces of history, we’re also showing off some new stuff. But really bring our community together. We can definitely get out of the new coronavirus. Every year it got bigger and bigger. But what we came here is actually to bring people together to enjoy cars and enjoy the great environment of this store. ”
Lou Lepoli, the proud owner of a 1939 Chevrolet Woody, reflected on his past and present connection to his automobile. “In 1939 Chevrolet added Woody to its sales lineup,” he said. “989 Woodies were built. It was built by Joseph Cantrell, a woodworker at the time. There were four different wood builders. The car was completely restored with all accessories. It’s a driver, I drive it all the way!
