Through the hard work and determination of a few dedicated and dedicated members, and the generosity of many people of good will who have come together to sponsor and assist, members of the Extraordinary KSC Executive Committee have been brought to the venue grounds. A short but magical and meaningful opening ceremony took place on the evening of November 18th, beginning with the offering of the Holy Mass in the Hall of Our Lady of Arabia at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Bahrain. We gathered to offer a prayer of thanksgiving. They gave blessings and brought offerings and gifts to distribute to the poor in the parish.
Following the Holy Mass, the newly renovated KSC grounds were blessed by Father Darrell Fernandez, assistant parish priest and spiritual leader of the Konkani community. The program began in the brightly lit venue with Entertainment Secretary Rajesh Prabhu welcoming the gathering. The stage program began with a prayer hymn by several members of the Women’s Division, and the entire grounds, including the terrace and the first floor of the temple grounds, which had been prepared for the occasion, were blessed. Then, in the presence of KSC executive members led by President Sunil D’Souza, to the resounding beats of Sir Cliff, the guest of honour, Father Darrell Fernandez, unfurled the dazzling KSC flag on the newly decorated stage.
