In the last week or so, Gulf Air has received its 10th Airbus A321neo aircraft on a delivery flight between Hamburg and Manama, Bahrain.
The airline continues its fleet renewal and expansion programs, which enable the airline’s longevity and future success.
Let’s get straight to the point…
Bahrain: Gulf Air receives 10th Airbus A321neo in Manama…
Gulf Air flight GF9008 departed Hamburg at 12:18 a.m. local time on November 18, bound for Manama, Bahrain.
The aircraft in question, A9C-XC, landed at the airport that evening at 1950 local time.
The first scheduled flight was to Athens, returning on November 23 after undergoing appropriate inspections on the ground at the base.
With the addition of this aircraft, Manama-based airline Gulf Air now has a fleet of 37 aircraft, of which 35 are in service and two are currently parked, according to data from Planespotters.net. That means you are doing it.
Deliveries of the same type of aircraft will be carried out in stages starting in 2020, with a total of 17 Airbus A321neo aircraft scheduled to be introduced.
A total of 12 A320neos are also on their way to the carrier, six of which have already been delivered as of this writing (22/11/23).
These jets will be used to replace older A320ceo and A321ceo aircraft in the Bahrain-based airline’s fleet, as well as to further strengthen its route network in the future.
It will be interesting to see how all other deliveries are made and what additional routes appear after all deliveries are completed.
