So when is a win really a loss? A win for UCLA would probably save Chipper’s job. Our only hope now is for the Chargers to offer Chip Kelly a coaching job when they fire Brandon Staley. It would make a great holiday present.

Bruins upset powerhouse USC!
Let’s give Chip Kelly another extension!

I searched desperately for any sign of hope against USC’s historically terrible defense. Found it – no one would ever accuse Alex Grinch of stealing someone else’s signs.

Rushed for 3 yards against UCLA. That’s all for the student group on the right and the student group on the left. Fight on?

See if Lincoln Riley’s postgame comments reflect his personality as a coach. His team just had a tough time against a crosstown rival, so what does he say about them? Not a word. No nod to Chip Kelly, whose Bruins were clearly better prepared. That’s not enough praise for Riatu Latu, who was in the Trojans’ backfield as much as a running back. Kelly was (hard to believe) more eloquent in his comments about Caleb Williams than Riley, who went on and on about himself. It’s not just that the coach was responsible for the big loss. This coach can only see what’s in front of him and can’t understand that navel gazing in moments of defeat isn’t a coach’s only job.

Does anyone think former USC coach Clay Helton could have done worse? And for far less money.

Once upon a time, there was a coach named Clay.
Someone who beat UCLA well.
It was 5 wins and 1 loss,
But it was under the gun.
Now a new coach is leading them astray.

Reading a Times sports columnist’s comment about the fanfare given to USC coach Lincoln Riley upon his arrival, it was this newspaper that announced Riley’s arrival at USC as if it were a “second coming.” It sounds like you forgot that. USC quarterback Caleb Williams is a great player, but it’s important to remember that the Heisman Trophy is the result of a massive and expensive public relations campaign run by the sponsoring school.
Too much was expected of USC this year, including the preseason evaluations.

Last Monday, after the UCLA Bruins’ humiliating loss to Arizona, Bill Plaschke wrote that coach Chip Kelly should be fired. “The Bruins can’t make it to the Big Ten with a coach like Kelly, who is mediocre at best.”
Now that UCLA has crushed USC, Plaschke is ready to fire Lincoln Riley. “The honeymoon at USC ended quickly for Riley.” If coaches are only allowed to keep their jobs if they’re perfect, how can Mr. Plaschke be allowed to keep writing for the LA Times?

On this Turkey Day, thank you LeBron James for playing like a 29-year-old instead of almost 39 and that he didn’t decide to retire when LBJ “considered retiring.” are doing.

What a mince! Manager Gregg Popovich quelled a rude crowd that was booing former Spurs player Kawhi Leonard. The Clippers’ hard-fought victory was welcomed, but even more moving was the respect and warmth shown by the coaches and players at the end of the game.

Stop it, NBA. stop it. The game (Cavaliers vs. 76ers) is not available on TNT at this time. A shiny orange coat? seriously? ? I can’t see the strange ball! The worst court I’ve ever seen (until tonight) was that court the Oregon Ducks play on. NBA, here’s a hint. These lively, bright and colorful coats distract the eye like crazy and destroy a highly visual game for the viewer. You make it impossible to see. I literally have no idea what’s going on. But hey, it’s definitely a beautiful color!

If Brandon Staley protects the Chargers the same way he protects himself, they will be a winning team. Instead, the team allowed a league-worst 393 yards per game, making him a pest on and off the field. What a shame for Chargers fans and players.

Below are some similarities between the Chargers and USC football teams.
1. Neither will be achieved in 2023.
2. Have a great quarterback.
3. Poor defense.
4. Their head coach would be better served as a coordinator.

Eric Sondheimer’s review of St. John Bosco and Mater Dei’s domination of CIF football points to a lawsuit that allowed unrestricted transfers in 2010 as the main culprit. ing. No mention was made of the amounts involved, with annual tuition at parochial and private schools being discussed as $15,685, $18,850, $33,280, and $40,770. Each of these teams outfits 60 players on the varsity team, so who pays the average total of $1.6 million in tuition per team? If given $1.6 million a year, the playing field would be leveled. Conversely, banning scholarships to parochial and private schools would achieve the same result.
