The Bahrain Animal Production Show (Mara’ee 2023) continued to attract national and resident visitors on its second day yesterday. Many visitors gathered and had a great time enjoying the activities and programs associated with the event.
Yesterday’s exhibition included an interactive people’s show, a cowboy show, a European horse show, a Bahraini horse and heritage show, a rodeo competition, a show jumping competition for adults and children, a theatrical competition, and Said’s Dozens of diverse events and shows were held, including the Story Carriage. , among others.
Dr. Ibrahim Youssef, Deputy Undersecretary for Livestock at the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Agriculture, confirmed that Malay Show will be held across the country as one of the most prestigious international exhibitions dedicated to the field of livestock and agricultural production.
He added that the event strengthens the Kingdom of Bahrain’s position and role in strengthening food security, as it is an investment, scientific and entertainment event and a forum for researchers and exhibitors.

Dr. Yousef said the idea for this year’s show comes from Bahraini traditions and reflects the depth of Bahrain’s civilization and history.
He said about 90 companies will be participating in the Livestock, Sheep and Goat category, which will showcase breeds specialized in milk and meat production, while in the bird category, about 1,000 participants will be exhibiting various types of birds. He pointed out that it would be exhibited. Common birds including ornamental birds, parrots, birds of prey, exotic birds and other species.
Dr. Ibrahim Youssef emphasized that the exhibition is an important platform for exhibitors and livestock and bird traders to sell products and livestock and conclude deals.
It also contributes to marketing and strengthens the exchange of experiences between exhibitors and producers.
He also said that the exhibition will include various shows and events, in addition to a series of contests and prizes where winners of different types of contests on animals and birds will be recognized.
He pointed out that the sixth edition of the Malay Show will further focus on local products and local businesses in livestock and agricultural production.
