Yangwang unveils new e⁴ concept car and supercar platform
BYD’s premium sub-brand Yangwang dazzled with the debut of its latest e⁴ concept car, the supercar platform, bringing the U8 and U9 to the auto show. Yangwang’s e⁴ concept car lacked traditional steering gear and braking mechanisms. Three-in-one technology for drive, brakes and steering eliminates the need for traditional mechanical systems. Earlier this year, Yangwang introduced his unique Yangwang architecture for high-end new energy vehicles. The official debut of this architectural supercar platform marks Yanwan’s transition from the wilderness to the technologically advanced racetrack. At the exhibition, the interior of the Yanwan U9 was unveiled for the first time, revealing a cockpit that combines technical sophistication and sportiness.
Sea Lion 07 EV*: New member of BYD Ocean series
BYD Ocean Series unveiled its first mid-size pure electric SUV, the Sea Lion 07 EV*, at the show. Adopting a “marine aesthetics” design philosophy, it features a rear-wheel/four-wheel drive architecture and is equipped with CTB technology and iTAC intelligent torque control technology. Additionally, it features front double wishbones, rear 5-link independent suspension, and BYD DiSus intelligent body control system. Currently, the Ocean Series includes popular models such as Dolphin and Seal, and has established a solid Ocean Series IP. In the future, for the Ocean series, SUV models will be integrated into Sea Lion* intellectual property and sedan models will be integrated into Seal intellectual property.
Denza D9 PREMIER (4-seat first edition) presents intelligent configuration
Denza, another high-end sub-brand in BYD’s diverse brand matrix, has launched the D9 PREMIER (four-seat first edition) along with some cutting-edge technology. The D9 PREMIER (first generation four-seater) uses the Galaxy Dual Tone body for the exterior, and the interior uses gold leaf technology, which is an intangible cultural heritage. The cabin was equipped with 22 of his DEVIALET audio speakers and a premium intelligently customized cockpit, including an 8-inch armrest screen.
Fast NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) will be rolled out to consumers in December, followed by a phased release of urban NOA in the first quarter of next year. High-speed NOA vehicles are scheduled to be delivered to consumers in December. Additionally, features such as Sentry Mode, Light Map Mode, and Commuter Mode will be rolled out over the next year.
FANGCHENGBAO AND STUNNING BAO 5
BYD’s professional personalized sub-brand FANGCHENGBAO also brought BAO 5 to the exhibition. The BAO 5, which was released just last week, is positioned as a “super hybrid hardcore SUV” starting at 289,800 yuan, and is equipped with BYD’s core technologies such as DMO and DiSus-P. BAO 5 adopts a 5-layer protection structure and an ultra-safe blade battery shielded by a ring-shaped double protection system.
