Retired Power captain and former Crows premiership player Erin Phillips is selling her West Lakes home as she has just ended her AFLW career.
Ms Phillips built her home at 14a Driver Court in West Lakes in 2019 and moved in with her wife Tracy Gahan and their three children Blake, Brooklyn and Drew in December of the same year.
Since then, they have welcomed another 5-month-old daughter, London, and have become a much-loved family home.
“This is a very special place and I have a lot of fond memories,” Phillips said.
“We spent a lot of time here during lockdown, played a lot of games and kept each other company.”

The house overlooks the third green at West Lakes Golf Club, and while Phillips doesn’t have much time to play a full round, he sneaks in a swing when he can.
The two-story, four-bedroom, three-bathroom home has 276.74 square meters of indoor and outdoor living space, including a spacious open-plan kitchen, family room and dining room that leads to an outdoor entertaining area.
It was a wonderful home for her family, but also a great place to share with others.
“Our house has always had an open door policy to our teammates, so so many of our teammates have come here to have dinner. Tracy and I have always welcomed our teammates. ,” Phillips said.
The couple has since found another home in the area and are looking forward to making new memories with their children there.
“The western suburbs are where I grew up and where I’ll eventually live forever – I say forever, but you never know – but it’s definitely my town’s place. That’s the side, that’s the side that I love and have grown up with, and I’m definitely going to be here as long as I can,” Phillips said.
Phillips was originally signed as a cross-code rookie in AFLW’s first season and went on to become a sporting icon with three Premierships, three All-Australian selections, two Club Best and Fairest Awards and two AFLW Best and Fairest Awards. He remains one of the most decorated players in the game.
Phillips, who announced his retirement from the sport last month, said he still doesn’t know what his future holds.
It’s Christmas in the United States, at least in the short term.
“I’ve always been on the move, from one season to the next, so the biggest challenge for me over the next few weeks is to slow down, take a breather and decide what to do next. “It’s going to be,” she said. .
“For now, I’m really happy to be able to spend time with my kids and Tracy and enjoy the holidays.
“I think I’ll definitely stay involved in football, it’s still something I’m passionate about, but it’s not 100 per cent clear what role I’ll play.
“I have four beautiful children, so that in itself is a full-time job.”
The house was auctioned on Saturday December 2 through Kate Smith and Steve Moffat of Harcourt Smith and was listed without a price guide.
