Oklahoma wide receiver DJ Graham II will not wear the crimson and cream next season.
The senior announced his intention to transfer on Saturday night. His announcement came a day after the Sooners defeated TCU 69-45 to finish the regular season at 10-2.
Graham underwent surgery on September 5th for an undisclosed injury and will miss the entire 2023 season.

“It has been an honor to join this great and storied football program at the University of Oklahoma for the past three years,” Graham wrote in the announcement. “While I am grateful to God for the opportunity to be a Sooner, I am at a crossroads in my career and after much prayer, comfort to my parents, and wise counsel, I intend to enter the NCAA transfer portal. is. “
Graham started 12 games at cornerback from 2020 to 2022 and was converted to receiver midway through last season. Although he never saw action at the position, he caught two passes for a game-high 74 yards in OU’s 2023 spring game.
He finished his Oklahoma career with 72 total tackles and two interceptions.
Graham was a three-star recruit out of Keller Central High School in the 2020 freshman class and ranked No. 22 nationally in the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Graham will be remembered in Norman. Interception with his one hand 2021 Nebraska State game. Graham has two years of eligibility remaining on him.

Graham said she will remain enrolled at OU for the remainder of the semester.
“My time at OU has come to an end. Because all good things come to an end, greater things may come.” Graham wrote.
The transfer portal will be open from December 4, 2023 to January 3, 2024. Players who have not previously taken advantage of a one-time free transfer can secure their eligibility immediately by entering the portal within the specified period.
