Yesterday, hopes for a continuation of the ceasefire in Gaza rose to new heights after Hamas confirmed late in the night the release of a second delayed hostage agreed as part of a temporary ceasefire in Gaza.
Mediator Qatar said a total of 13 Israeli hostages were to be released “tonight” for the 39 Palestinian prisoners. Seven foreign nationals detained in Gaza are also scheduled to be released.

In a second post, Ansari said the Israelis being released from Gaza consisted of eight children and five women.
The spokesperson said 33 children and six women will be released from Israeli prisons.
Thirteen Israeli hostages were taken by Hamas on Friday, the first day of a four-day humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza led by Qatar with support from Egypt and the United States, in exchange for 39 Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli prisons. Freed.
