Mikaela Shiffrin won the women’s World Cup slalom in Killington, Vermont, on Sunday after building a first-run lead and winning for a record-extending 90th time.
The two-time Olympic champion delighted the home crowd by recording the fastest time on both runs, beating her Slovakian rival Petra Vlhova by 0.33 seconds.
Shiffrin won six of the seven slalom events at the annual World Cup in Vermont.
