The history of real estate in Hyderabad has not been so shaky. However, many real estate experts predict tough ups and downs this election season if the BRS fails to win an absolute majority and form a government.
It is known that the BRS government’s central focus is only on West Hyderabad.
Meanwhile, Revanth Reddy announced that if his party comes to power, it will focus on the Rachakonda region and develop the area towards Ramoji Film City and the Vijayawada Highway beyond. This will result in a sudden shift from west to east in Hyderabad, which will have a major impact on ongoing projects in the west.
Furthermore, there is an assumption that even if the current Parliament were to form a government, the Treasury would place less emphasis on development as it may not be sufficient to deliver on its manifesto commitments. This concern has also affected real estate agents in Hyderabad.
If the BRS forms the government again, stability in real estate is expected, and if the Congress forms the government, the situation will be in great turmoil, but everything is expected to calm down soon. However, real estate agents say that if the Congress wins and there is an intra-party conflict over the CM chairmanship, real estate prices are expected to fall significantly.
A real estate agent said, “A stable government, wise CM, and development-oriented governance are essential for real estate growth.”
Some real estate agents cite the example of Bengaluru, where property prices have fallen significantly under Congress rule.
So, this is the time when the property values of Hyderabad will be tested and we will have to wait and see what happens after December 3rd.
