Shanghai (Gasgoo) – On November 27, Changan Automobile held a brand launch event in Bangkok, Thailand, demonstrating its determination to expand its business in the Southeast Asian market.

Changan Automobile established its Southeast Asia business unit after more than three years of careful preparation and extensive research with more than 10,000 Thai consumers. Additionally, three local subsidiaries have been established: Changan Automobile Southeast Asia, Changan Thailand Sales, and Changan Thai Automotive Parts, and a localized management team has also been established. The company has also begun construction of a new energy vehicle (NEV) production base in Thailand, aiming for seamless integration into the Thai market through localization.
At the brand presentation, Changan Automobile’s new vision for its “globalization” strategy in Southeast Asia was clearly expressed.

At this event, Changan Automobile announced two NEV products, DEEPAL L07 and DEEPAL S07, and simultaneously started full-line reservations. These models will be officially launched in the Thai market at the Thailand International Motor Expo to be held on November 29th. Furthermore, AVATR, a premium NEV brand co-funded by Changan Automobile, Huawei, and CATL, exhibited its flagship models AVATR 11 and AVATR 11. AVATR 12 makes its domestic debut.
