Texas A&M basketball played one of its best games in a while under head coach Buzz Williams, rallying from a 21-point deficit against Iowa State to defeat the Cyclones 73-69 in Sunday’s ESPN Invitational Repechage Game. He missed two games. Senior forward Henry Coleman III and senior guard Tyrese Radford were the primary starters.
The Aggies, who have an impressive 6-1 record this year, are scheduled to play Virginia in Charlottesville on Wednesday in another game on an already tough schedule as they prepare for SEC matchup in early January.
On Monday, USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll released its latest men’s basketball poll. The Aggies remained in 13th place after suffering their first loss against FAU. Texas A&M is his third-highest ranked SEC team behind Kentucky (12th) and Tennessee (11th).
