Prime Minister Modi, along with other world leaders, gathered in Dubai for the COP28 Global Climate Action Summit. As the summit began on Friday, world leaders were seen posing for the customary “family photo” earlier in the day.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Modi was received by UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres at the venue of the 28th Climate Change Conference.
He interacted with various world leaders, including Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and European Union President Ursula von der Leyen.
This will be Prime Minister Modi’s third visit to the Global Climate Action Summit, following his visit to Paris in 2015 and Glasgow in 2021. Prime Minister Modi arrived at Dubai Airport on Thursday evening and was received by UAE Deputy Prime Minister Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
