The updated home, named Casablanca de Olivas, is listed for $1.75 million. According to Realtor.com®, it was last sold in 2019 for $693,000.

“I like the layout,” Strobel said, noting that it feels much larger than it actually is.
There are two main bedrooms, one on the main floor and one upstairs. The remaining bedrooms are on the other side of the house.

Renovated house
The home retains original details, including some flooring, interior wood doors, and glass doorknobs. However, it has been refreshed with modern fixtures, fixtures and finishes.

Strobel sold the place to the seller in 2019 and is grateful for everything they have done for the place since then.

Strobel has heard all kinds of stories about architect DuPont and his involvement with the house.
“It’s all word of mouth,” she said, adding that some say DuPont actually lived in the house. “This house was built around the same time as Don Cesar.”
The next owner will probably have to be a fan of the hotel, as it’s hard to avoid the view of Don Cesar from the beach pad.
“The perfect buyer would be someone who understands the history of Don Caesar and the history of St. Pete Beach,” Strobel said. “This is one of the original structures on the beach.”
