Bahrain has announced that work on several major infrastructure development projects across its northern provinces is in full swing and on schedule.
These include work related to the Janabiya Expressway project, which will contribute to reducing traffic congestion in the region. Sanitation networks in Hamara and Budaiya regions and a new upper bridge at Al Jasra Interchange were reported. BNA This was stated by the Minister of Works.
These are part of the third batch of projects to develop roads, sanitation and municipal services. We will continue to implement them in accordance with the priorities set, in order to serve the people and residents and keep pace with the continued urban development of the Kingdom.” Minister of Works Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Khawaji said after inspecting the construction work.
During the visit, the Minister was briefed on infrastructure development projects undertaken by the Ministry, including a project to establish a sanitation network serving 43 facilities in Block 1010 of Al Hamara.
He was also briefed on the implementation of paving road No. 438 in Block 1004 in Al Jasra and the completion of the paving project on Road No. 5054 in Block 550 in Budaiya.
One of the major projects underway is reported to be the Al-Janabiya Highway Development Project, which aims to ease traffic congestion. B.N.A.
It added that an upper bridge is being constructed at Al Jasra Interchange to reduce traffic congestion for people heading from Al Janabiya Highway to Sheikh Isa bin Salman Highway.
