As always, injuries will have a big impact on upcoming NFL games. There are a few things to keep an eye on in Week 17, including the injury status of Texans quarterback CJ Stroud and Bengals wideout Ja’Marr Chase.

Jets vs. Browns (Thursday night)
Trevor Siemian will start for the Jets this week with Rodgers and Wilson out. The kicking situation will be interesting as Greg Zuerlein is battling an illness. If Zerlein is unavailable, Austin Seibert, who was added to the practice squad on Wednesday, will likely kick.
Cooper will be a huge loss for the Browns, especially after last week’s record-setting win over the Texans. Elijah Moore and David Bell are expected to play larger roles in Cooper’s absence.
The Lions are without Taylor Decker (groin) as the left tackle was downgraded from limited to non-participant. Center Frank Ragnow (toe, back, knee) and right tackle Penei Sewell (shoulder) were full participants.
The Cowboys gave guard Zach Martin a rest day and tackle Tyron Smith missed practice for the second consecutive game.
It was a long initial injury report for the Patriots, as offensive tackle Trent Brown (illness), safety Jalen Mills (concussion) and safety Jabrill Peppers (hamstring) missed practice. Defensive linemen Christian Barmore (knee) and Myles Bryant (chest) were limited.
Bills edge rusher Leonard Floyd (wrist/rib) did not practice, but the team also gave him a “rest” designation. Edge rusher Von Miller also had a rest day and did not practice. Linebacker Terrell Bernard (ankle), safety Mika Mide (stinger) and defensive end AJ Epenesa (ribs) were limited. The Falcons have a strengthened offensive line with Chris Lindstrom (ankle), Jake Matthews (knee) and Caleb McGary (knee) all limited. Quarterback Taylor Heinicke (ankle) also had limitations. Running back Cordarrelle Patterson had a rest day.
Cole Kmet (knee), Darnell Mooney (concussion) and Lucas Patrick (knee) were absent from the Bears’ practice Wednesday. Fortunately for the Bears, Tevin Jenkins (concussion) and Donte Foreman (individual) practiced in full.
Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (quad) did not participate in practice. Tight end Michael Meyer (toe) also did not practice. Tackle Kolton Miller (shoulder) and pass rusher Maxx Crosby (knee) were limited.
The Colts had wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. (concussion/shoulder) as a limited participant in practice. Running back Zack Moss (forearm) also had limitations.
Only two players were included on the Rams’ injury report. Offensive lineman Joe Noteboom (foot) and defensive back Tre Tomlinson (hamstring) did not practice.
The Giants had a lengthy injury report on Wednesday, which is not surprising considering they played and just had a walk-through on Monday. On the coach’s side, running back Brian Robinson Jr. (hamstring) was limited, and running back Chris Rodriguez (ankle) did not practice. Tackle Charles Leno (calf) also did not practice.
The 49ers were without defensive tackle Arik Armstead (foot) and safety Ziair Brown (knee) on Wednesday. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel (neck), tackle Trent Williams (groin) and defensive tackle Javon Hargrave (hamstring) had limited effectiveness.
The Panthers had quite a few notable injuries on Wednesday. Cornerback Jaycee Horn (toe) did not practice, and offensive tackles Ikem Ekwonu (foot) and Taylor Morton (knee/rest) also did not practice. Running back Tuba Hubbard (hamstring) and cornerback Donte Jackson (ankle) were limited.
Quarterback Trevor Lawrence (shoulder) did not participate in the Jaguars’ practice, but backup CJ Beathardt (shoulder) was a full participant. Wide receiver Zay Jones (knee/hamstring) was limited.
The Dolphins had many key players absent from Wednesday’s practice in preparation for Sunday’s showdown with the Ravens. Wide receivers Tyreek Hill (ankle) and Jaylen Waddle (ankle) missed Wednesday’s practice, as did running backs Raheem Mostert (knee/ankle) and Devon Ackern (toe).
Ravens wide receiver Zai Flowers (calf) and safety Kyle Hamilton (knee) did not practice. Linebacker Patrick Queen (shoulder) and linebacker Roquan Smith (pectoral muscle) were limited.
No Titans players missed practice, although wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins took a rest day. Quarterback Will Revis (ankle) has participated fully in practice and is on track for the game.
Texans defensive end Will Anderson Jr. (ankle) did not participate in practice. Wide receivers Noah Brown (knee) and Nico Collins (calf) were limited. Quarterback CJ Stroud (concussion) also reached his limit.
The Steelers had some important names on the injury report as running back Najee Harris (knee) and safety Minkah Fitzpatrick (knee) missed practice. Quarterback Kenny Pickett (ankle) was limited, but Mason Rudolph is expected to start.
Seahawks long injury report. Running back Kenneth Walker (shoulder), tight end Noah Fant (knee) and tackle Jason Peters (foot) did not practice. Cornerback Devon Witherspoon (hip) and wide receiver Jackson Smith-Njiba (knee) were limited.
Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen (hip) did not participate in practice. Rashawn Slater (ankle) had limited tackles.
The Broncos had wide receiver Courtland Sutton (concussion) absent from practice on Wednesday, and tight end Greg Dulcich (hamstring/foot) also sat out.
bengals vs chiefs
Wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase (shoulder) was the only Bengals player to miss practice. Pass rusher cam sample (knee) was limited.
The Chiefs missed practice Wednesday as running back Isaiah Pacheco (concussion), cornerback Rajarius Snead (calf), left tackle Donovan Smith (stinger) and wide receiver Kadarius Toney (hip) missed practice. We missed a number of starters.
Packers vs. Vikings (“Sunday Night Football”)
