This local chapter was founded by a group of Sarasota businessmen. Among them are Ian Black Real Estate and representative Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP, Gulfside Bank others.
CREW Sarasota-Manatee leaders applied to join the national CREW network after expanding the group’s membership beyond the required 30 people. CREW Network approves his new chapter application once a year, and the next review will be in February.
CREW Sarasota-Manatee’s founding committee includes Brie Tulp of Ian Black Real Estate as secretary, Michele Fuller and Amy MacDougall as general directors and members of the membership committee.
Traditionally, commercial real estate professionals in Sarasota and Manatee have attended and participated in events hosted by CREW Tampa Bay, the organization’s closest chapter. The creation of the Sarasota-Manatee Chapter will allow members to connect and discuss topics related to the local market and economy.
Once certified by CREW, the Sarasota-Manatee Chapter plans to hold monthly meetings on a variety of topics related to commercial real estate professionals.

SRQ sees an increase in passengers every month
In November 2023, 377,272 passengers traveled through the city. Sarasota Bradenton International Airport, That’s a 5% increase compared to November 2022, when there were 359,488 passengers, according to an airport press release.
Passenger numbers for the 12 months to November 2023 totaled 4,294,064, an increase of 12.5% compared to 3,817,099 passengers for the 12 months to November 2022. SRQ has seen a 13% increase in passenger numbers from the beginning of the calendar year to date. 11 months of 2022.
