Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M Ltd.), a prominent company in India’s automotive sector, reports strong sales for December 2023, with overall growth rate of 6% including exports was shown. In the same month, the company’s total car sales reached 60,188 units.
In the utility vehicle segment, Mahindra sold 35,171 vehicles in the domestic market, registering an impressive growth of 24%. The overall performance of this segment including exports was 36,349 units. Additionally, Mahindra commercial vehicles achieved sales of 17,888 units in the country.
Mr. Veejay Nakula, President, Automotive Division, M&M Ltd. expressed satisfaction with the strong performance of the SUV division and said, “In December, we sold a total of 35,171 SUVs, a healthy 24% YoY. “It reflects the growth that has occurred.” While we are facing supply challenges for some parts, we are actively working with our suppliers to address these challenges and ensure smoother operations in the coming months. ”
