Week 18 of the NFL season has finally begun, and it’s a fitting end to a regular season that’s been packed with excitement all around. There are 20 teams left in the race for a Super Bowl spot, with one week remaining, tying 2006 for the most in 41 years (1982 was a strike-shortened season with a 16-team playoff; participated). Four division titles have yet to be decided, which is the most in the final game of the season since there were four in 2014.
The record for losing close playoff games is being broken by players around the league. While quite a few have been accomplished, these are the NFL records and player performances that are at stake heading into the final week of the regular season.
