The Joint Economic Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) held its 42nd meeting.
The meeting was chaired by Minister of Industry and Commerce Abdullah bin Adel Fakhroh and BCCI Chairman Sameer Nath.
The meeting discussed the Green Factory Seal, the development of the Integrated Industry Partnership Conference hosted by Bahrain, and the visual presentation of the Implementation Lab project.
It also considered ways to promote Bahrain’s industrial and commercial sector and achieve sustainable growth, as well as recommendations to improve the business environment, attract investment and promote trade.
Highlighting the role of BCCI, Fakhro pointed out that the joint economic committee meeting follows from the ministry’s approach of cooperating and coordinating with chambers of commerce and industry on all common topics.
As the representative of Bahrain’s economic sector, he will always cooperate with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and expressed support for all initiatives that contribute to the development of Bahrain’s economic sector.
The BCCI Chairman said the best way to strengthen the path of development and contribute to the national economy is through joint public and private efforts.
He encouraged the Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Board of Directors and Standing Committee to cooperate with various ministries and government agencies dealing with economic issues to achieve interdependence and integration and achieve the desired goal of inclusive economic development. He emphasized his enthusiasm.
He highlighted the ministry’s efforts to improve the system and update its efforts in accordance with the latest global economic standards in serving shopping streets.
