Bjorn Connect, a Bahrain-based technology company from Bjorn Group, plans to launch a highly secure digital e-registered mail platform in the coming months through an existing partnership with Egypt Post.
According to a press release, the platform, which will be rolled out under the name Bareedi, will be Egypt’s first digital certified postal service, in line with the Arab Republic’s 2030 vision and digital transformation strategy.
According to Sherif Farouk, head of Egypt’s National Post Office, all tests of Bareedi and the secure digital vault have been successfully carried out, and the official start of operations is scheduled for the first half of 2024 (H1).
The new platform provides innovative solutions and services for digital postboxes. This is a step based on the continuous development of Egyptian Post at all levels, including the upgrading and improvement of all services.
The remarks and announcements were made as part of Beyond Connect’s National Post Day celebrations, which was also attended by Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat and Chairman of the Egyptian Post, commemorating this annual event held on January 2 every year. did.
