The 100% nationalized talent development initiative aims to provide Bahraini youth with valuable work experience, skills and knowledge to advance their careers in the dynamic field of information and communication technology (ICT) . The program is strategically organized in partnership with the Ministry of Labor, Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), Labor Fund (Tamkeen) and development partner Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF).

To create a sustainable selection process, customized development feedback worth BHD 10,000 was shared with all her 200 candidates upon completion of the assessment. The assessment was carried out through a gamified approach that created a customized feedback document for every candidate.
The 33 graduates selected for a 12-month internship at stc Bahrain will benefit from a cutting-edge learning experience facilitated through a purpose-built learning platform and learning applications. With over 45,000 hours of development time invested, the program includes over 5,000 hours of coaching and mentoring (C&M) to ensure a comprehensive and immersive education.
Working with real-world applications, the 33 graduates will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of information and communication technology, hackathons, ideation, and incubation processes, gaining experience working on more than 60 projects. The graduate is also entitled to receive a monthly salary and medical insurance as part of her one-year internship at STC Bahrain. After completing their internships, 10 exemplary candidates will be offered full-term employment at stc, contributing to the growth of Bahrain’s highly skilled workforce.
On this occasion, His Excellency Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labor, spoke about stc Bahrain’s community initiatives, especially those carried out with the aim of providing Bahraini graduates with the necessary skills and experience in the ICT sector.
