An investigation has been launched after two Royal Navy warships collided in a Middle Eastern port.
Footage posted on social media showed HMS Chiddingfold turning into HMS Bangor off the coast of Bahrain.
No one was injured, but “some damage was sustained,” the Royal Navy said.
The two mine hunters were based in the Middle East to ensure safe trade flows in the maritime area.

But this time, the Houthi rebels cannot be given credit.

Maj. Gen. Edward Ahlgren said: “We still do not know why this happened. We train our employees to the highest standards and strictly enforce our machinery safety standards, but unfortunately accidents of this nature do not occur. It may still occur.
“A full and thorough investigation is already underway and I can assure you that any changes to our procedures that could prevent further incidents will be implemented quickly.
