President Sheikh Mohammed and Bahrain’s King Hamad discussed pursuing a Middle East peace process during a meeting in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
The meeting took place during Sheikh Mohammed’s visit to King Hamad’s residence in Abu Dhabi, state news agency Wam reported.
“The two sides discussed the latest developments in the situation in the Middle East and the importance of pursuing all efforts to achieve an inclusive and just peace process that promotes stability, development and prosperity for peoples across the region,” Wham said. Stated.
“The meeting explored ways to strengthen bilateral cooperation across various sectors with the aim of advancing the development goals of both countries and meeting the aspirations of their peoples for continued progress and prosperity.”
The Leaders also reaffirmed the importance of further strengthening collaboration across the Gulf region for the benefit of Gulf Cooperation Council Member States and to help realize the aspirations of their peoples.
They also praised the strong ties between the UAE and Bahrain.
