With less than a month until the first race of the 2024 F1 World Championship, teams are beginning to reveal their candidates for the new season.
The latest one is RB, officially Visa Cash App RB, a Red Bull feeder team formerly known as AlphaTauri. That candidate, called his VCARB 01, was unveiled for the first time in Las Vegas late Thursday night.
The car sports a blue and white livery interspersed with red accents, and its appearance is reminiscent of its appearance when it competed as Toro Rosso, the name used by the team before switching to AlphaTauri. It reminds me of some of the livery the team used.
Drivers Daniel Ricciardo and Hiroki Tsunoda also attended the presentation. They have new team principal Laurent Mequise, replacing retired veteran Franz Tost.

Also in attendance was Amna Al Qubaisi, who will be carrying the team’s colors this year for F1 Academy, an all-female racing series that acts as a driver development program for young female racers. Ken Block’s daughter, Leah Block, will also be competing in the series this year.
The 2024 F1 cars will follow almost the same design rules as the cars that competed last year. A small change is the addition of an extra scoop to keep the cockpit cool in hot races like West Asia.
These cars feature a carbon fiber composite honeycomb chassis and a turbocharged 1.6-liter V-6 engine with two motor generators, one in the driveline and one integrated with the turbo. It has a combined hybrid power unit. RB and Red Bull will be equipped with power units developed by Honda.
Pre-season testing will take place at the Bahrain International Circuit from February 21st to 23rd, before the first race of the season, the Bahrain Grand Prix, will be held at the same location on March 2nd. This year’s season will feature a record 24 races.3 people in America
