The new trade forum was established by the respective automotive forums of India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Nepal in conjunction with the Bharat Global Mobility Expo to be held in February 2024.
The Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), together with Bangladesh Automobile Assembly Manufacturers Association (BAAMA), Sri Lanka Ceylon Automobile Trade Association (CMTA) and Nepal NADA Automobile Association (NADA) recently established the South Asia Automobile Association. Automotive Forum held on the sidelines of Bharat Global Mobility Expo in February 2024.
The forum aims to foster cooperation and cooperation between the automotive sectors in the South Asia region. It will serve as a platform for association members to interact regularly, share best practices and collaborate towards common goals for the development of the region’s automotive industry.
