A Six Flags Over Georgia employee died Sunday night from injuries sustained in a “tragic motor vehicle accident,” authorities said, according to multiple news outlets.
Atlanta news station WSB-TV reported that Cobb County police said Andrea Crook, 43, fell from the back of a 2004 Ford Econoline cargo van and struck an employee on park property. It was announced that he hit his head on the sidewalk of the private access road.
Both Park and local first responders treated Crook at the scene and he was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for “serious and life-threatening” head injuries, the report said. He died as a result, officials said.
Crook was one of several employees, including two minors, placed in the back of a cargo van driven by Asia Hendricks, 27, WSB-TV reported. .

A Six Flags employee who chose to remain anonymous told Fox 5 Atlanta that Fright Fest attendees often drove around the park to maintain appearance.
“The actors were always transported in vans. They didn’t want actors in makeup moving around different parts of the park, so they went backstage,” an employee told the outlet.
“I know that everyone who spent time with her really loved her. She really always had a great team behind her and brought so much joy to so many different people. I really hope everyone sends good energy to the hospital in Andrea’s family,” the employee said of Mr. Crook.
