PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Downtown Pittsburgh is full of real estate. Whether you’re considering a move or just starting out, Pittsburgh’s Downtown Partnership and several local breweries have events planned for you.
Join us next Thursday, October 12th, for the Views and Brews Downtown Living Tour from 4 to 8 p.m. This event is brought to you by his Downtown Pittsburgh Partnership and PDP’s Jack Doherty says this is a great new way to discover the city. Even if you’re not looking for a place to live.
“You’re probably seeing some of the available residential apartments, condos, amenities that you didn’t know were there before, experiencing downtown in a way you’re probably not used to, and thinking it’s starting to settle down. ,” Dougherty said.
The tour costs $15 and begins and ends at Steele Plaza. There are several local breweries here, including Cinderlands. Her co-owner Joanna Worden says the event is a great way to showcase both her business and downtown.
“This is a good way to show people what’s here. A lot of stuff has moved out of town and things are coming back to normal and this is a safe place and people are going out.” “It shows that people live here and there’s a kind of community,” Worden said.
