HERSHEY, Pa. (WHTM) – Hershey area members of the Antique Automobile Club of America are welcoming antique car enthusiasts to the 68th Annual Antique Show, where emotion is everywhere.
“Some of the cars are really beautiful,” said volunteer Scott Kopp.
Scott Kopp has volunteered here every year for the past 30 years.
“When I come here, I enjoy a day that I haven’t had in years. I had planned my entire vacation around this past week,” Kopp said.
The show features a large flea market with more than 9,000 vendor spaces and more than 1,000 antique cars, some of which are over 100 years old.
“I want people to leave here with an appreciation for old cars and the joy of seeing all the restored cars,” Scott said.
AACA is the world’s largest and oldest antique car club, with members and chapters all over the world, but Hershey holds a special place in their hearts.
“Enjoy the camaraderie of the Hershey Area Antique Automobile Club. As you can imagine putting on this show, it’s so much fun just to be a part of such a big event. We have quite a few… We have volunteers,” Kopp said.
The flea market continues this week, with a car show taking center stage starting Friday, with hundreds of cars available for viewing and purchase.
