The open prison program implemented by the Ministry of Interior is one of the pioneering initiatives to achieve the noble goals of the Kingdom’s criminal justice system, especially in a way that maintains the safety of society, including the rehabilitation and training of beneficiaries. . This was underlined by Information Minister Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, who asserted that Bahrain has an honorable track record in strengthening human rights in thought and practice.
The Minister said that in light of the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the graduation of the first batch of Open Prison Program beneficiaries is a continuation of the successes achieved by Bahrain in the field of human rights. I confirmed that it will be done.
He said respect for human rights is one of the priorities of the government led by Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Highness Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
Dr Al Nuaimi said Prince Salman supports Saudi Arabia’s efforts to build on its regionally and internationally recognized human rights achievements.
