A Nigerian skit maker called Topic Mouth, who bears a striking resemblance to Naira Marley, has revealed what happened to him being a doppelganger.
The comedian, whose previous stage name was Naira Marley Twins, now goes by the name Topic Mouth following the indictment of Naira Marley in the investigation into Mokhbad’s death.
Naira Marley remains in police custody as investigations into Mokhbad’s death continue. Naira Marley has also been accused of ordering the late singer to bully and harass him, although he claims he is innocent of the charges.
However, through the statement, Naira debunked the claim as false.especially against those who try to blame Mokhbad’s death on him.
Through a video trending on social media, Topic Mouse gave a shoutout to Nigerians and revealed that he is often mistaken for the Marian boss.
He said, “I would like to take this opportunity to explain myself. I am not Naira Marley. Abeg, I am not Naira Marley. I am not the God who created me. I am Naira Marley. Not Marley.
“All my friends are scared of me. Everyone is running away from me. I am not Naira Marley. Abeg will never tarnish my image to people, Abeg. Let Una help me. Abeg , I’m not Naira Marley, I’m really just doing a skit.”
The short clip showed the comedian sporting the same dreadlocks, hairstyle and beard that reminded us of Naira Marley.

This trending video, which clears the air about his resemblance to Naira Marley, was posted on September 22 before going viral.
Further investigation revealed another video clip on his page, revealing a recent video he posted on Thursday about the same issue.
He said he went for the “Ozo title” to differentiate himself from famous musicians.
“Can you see? I now have the title of Ozo which shows that I am Igbo. I am not Naira Marley. I have now changed my name to ‘Ozo Igbo Naira Marley’ Did. I am not Yoruba. I’m Igbo.
“This is to protect myself and make me different. Whoever calls me Naira Marley again, I will not take it lightly,” he explained in his local Igbo language.
