Sunday started with a lot of anticipation for Baltimore sports fans. In Game 2 of the American League Division Series, the Baltimore Ravens faced the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Baltimore Orioles hosted the Texas Rangers. Tens of thousands of baseball fans entered the gates of Camden Yards with high expectations and some nerves heading into Game 2, hoping for a comeback against the Rangers after Saturday’s loss. “I’m excited. It’s my first time playing a playoff game,” said the Orioles fan. “It’s huge for Baltimore City. Let’s hope we can win the game today and let’s go on the road and seal this and bring the ALCS to Baltimore,” Orioles fans said. The ballclub, which won more games this season than expected so far, inspired its fan base to say, “Let’s go to the O’s. Yes, for sure. I’m Irish and I love the O’s. They’re the best. “This is going to be the day they actually hit it out of the park,” said an Orioles fan. “It’s a little nerve-wracking. If you’re not sitting in front of two different screens, how can you watch both at the same time? But I can’t complain because I’m a spectator at the game,” said the Orioles fan. In the bottom of the third inning, fans began trickling out of Camden Yards. “I think they’re trying their best, but they’re not going to win,” the Orioles fan said. To those returning to the ballpark after a decade, Sunday’s loss is hard to swallow, but they are far from giving up on his O. “I feel like my girlfriend just broke up with me.” It hurts a little. There are still two more left. Texas can win,” one Orioles fan said.App users tap here to view postseason gear
“It’s huge for the city of Baltimore. Let’s hope we get it today. We’d love to go on the road and seal this and bring the ALCS to Baltimore,” the Orioles fan said.
The baseball club has won more games than expected this season, increasing the motivation of its fan base.
“Let’s go to the O’s. Yes, for sure. I’m Irish and I love the O’s. They’re the best team on the planet and today’s going to be the day they really hit it out of the park. ” said an Orioles fan.
A sea of orange appeared in the park, and many people wore purple to cheer on the Ravens.
“It’s a little nerve-wracking,” said one Orioles fan. “If you’re not sitting in front of two different screens, how can you watch both at the same time? But as a spectator at a game, I can’t complain.”
But by the third inning, fans were starting to trickle out of Camden Yards.
“I think they’re trying their best, but they’re not going to win,” the Orioles fan said.
For players who have been returning to the ballpark for decades, Sunday’s loss was hard to swallow, but they are far from giving up on the O’s.
“I feel like my girlfriend just broke up with me,” said one Orioles fan. “It’s a little tough. There’s still two more to go. We’ll win in Texas.”
