WASHINGTON, DC – As the Washington Capitals and Wizards prepare to open the regular season this month, Monumental Sports & Entertainment (MSE) Capital One Arena today announced a wide range of new developments for fans and attendees. Announced features and amenities. The announcement also includes an updated lineup of discounts released in partnership with Capital One Arena’s exclusive food and beverage partner, Aramark Sports + Entertainment.
Since opening in 1997, Capital One Arena has become the capital’s sports and entertainment hub. The building hosts an average of 220 events per year and welcomes nearly 3 million guests annually. The arena has generated nearly $800 million in tax revenue for the district since it opened.
“At each event we host, we work hard night and night to make sure the fan experience at Capital One Arena is second to none,” said Jordan Silver, President of Venues, Monumental Sports & Entertainment. Mann said. “Guests visiting the arena this season can expect exciting new food and beverage options, state-of-the-art premium seating spaces, innovative technology used throughout the building, and a warm and welcoming hospitality experience. ”
New updates include:

Chico: A DC favorite, Chico’s serves Chinese-Korean fusion dishes in Section 106, including crab rangoon, bulgogi tots, sticky Chinese ribs, and more.
Honeymoon chicken: Honeymoon Chicken delivers premium fried chicken dishes like sandwiches and chicken bites to Section 110 from the heart of Washington, DC.
Little Minor Taco: Fans can sample a variety of tacos, street corn and more from this local restaurant partner located in Sections 107 and 432.
Staggie’s Sandwich Shop: The Baltimore staple known for its hearty gourmet hot dogs is coming to Section 105 of the arena. The menu includes crab mac and cheese dogs, as well as DC dogs, mini corn dogs and cheese curds.

GS Draft ReverseTap Smart Dispenser: Capital One Arena guests 21 and older now have access to the GS Draft Reverse Tap Smart Dispenser. This system uses specialized equipment and cups to fill draft beer from the bottom, avoiding excessive foam. Fans with a valid government-issued ID can find these dispensers in the Section 108 No-Checkout Market.
bartesian cocktail machine: Capital One Arena offers bar-quality cocktails at the push of a button. bartesian For guests 21 and older, cocktail machines are available at several locations throughout the venue.

Signature Club & Lounge: Scheduled to debut later this year, Signature Club & Lounge is Capital One Arena’s new premium guest experience space. This sleek, modern lounge on the corner of 7th Street and Gallery Place offers members early admission and exclusive access before Capitals and Wizards games. The space will feature José Andrés Group’s outstanding food and beverage lineup.
Hennessy Lofts: This luxurious courtside section is one of the most exclusive premium seating areas during Wizards games at Capital One Arena. Each loft has a private His table with access to a carefully selected five-course dining experience and a full Bar His menu, hand-selected by Hennessy. Guests will be served by a dedicated service team, choose transportation benefits, and enjoy all the benefits of Wizards VIP membership.

Overtime shop: Fans looking to purchase the latest Capitals and Wizards merchandise from Fanatics are encouraged to stop by the expanded Overtime Shop located in Section 118.
Self checkout: To expedite the checkout process, fans will have self-checkout options available at the main team store and the Overtime Shop in Section 118. Both locations will have multiple handheld sales points for fans to easily purchase gear and equipment. Please return to your seat.
Other updates
District part-time job: District Bites on site District E powered by Ticketmasteris the premier spot for fans to gather for game day happy hour specials. Conveniently located in Gallery Place, District Bites offers locally sourced signature dishes, from Detroit-style pizza to handcrafted desserts. Happy hour runs daily from 4pm to 7pm and features $7 drafts and $10 apps.
Fan entrance: Capital One Arena continues to be a leader in frictionless screening technology for NHL and NBA games. Capital One Arena will introduce Evolv and CEIA technology to NBA games starting this season after debuting in his NHL games in 2021. This technology is designed to guide fans into the arena in a faster and less invasive manner than traditional walk-through magnetometers.
F Street Grand Bar: Serving a variety of beers and cocktails, fans 21 and older should check out this exciting and convenient new bar in Section 100.
50/50 lottery: The MSE Foundation (MSEF) is hosting a popular 50/50 raffle at every Capitals and Wizards home game. Fans have the option of purchasing tickets online, in-arena at the 50/50 drawing kiosks located in sections 106 and 120, or from mobile vendors. Raffle proceeds directly support MSEF programs and events that benefit nonprofits and community partners in the DC area.
