Kooheji Contractors uses lightweight formwork for luxury high-rise building in Bahrain
The company will use PASCHAL’s NeoR lightweight formwork for efficient construction and demolition of formwork for a 53-story mixed-use building called The Onyx Skyview.
The skyscraper will include 435 luxury apartments, 40 workplaces, seven retail spaces, and landscaped amenities with views of Manama’s skyline and ocean.
NeoR lightweight formwork is suitable for manufacturing foundations, beams, columns and walls. The formwork panels are particularly lightweight, weighing only 41.3 kg over an area of 90 x 150 cm. This makes it easy to install and move lightweight formwork on construction sites.
Internal tie points on the 90 x 150 cm panel give it flexibility for use in both vertical and upright orientations. The enlarged holes in the panel frame also allow you to compensate for uneven surfaces. The wide range of options allows for optimal adaptation to the specific requirements of any construction site.
Lightweight formwork systems rely on key bolts, proven lights, forced locks, and affordable connecting pieces that ensure wall alignment.
NeoR lightweight formwork is of course compatible with all PASCHAL systems and can therefore be added to the stock of formwork already in use.
