Kerr Lal de Lal Automobile, the fashion platform and car company founded by Arthur Kerr, has once again announced the release of its latest collaborative shoe with Vault by Vans, following their previous collaboration in 2020.
This latest drop adds to a growing list of collaborative sneaker and apparel releases to date that include names like Carhartt, Salomon, Porsche, and Dover Street Market.
Dubbed the “VANS L’ART EXHAUST BLACK EDITION,” the latest pair with Vault by Vans features a delicate all-black Vans Old Skool that looks like rough suede. Details include embossment on the top of the toe box and minimal branding on the medial side of the shoe, with the brand name printed across the leather Old School Stripe logo.
What’s even more notable is that each shoe is equipped with an “L’ART” branded exhaust system on the side. According to the brand, this exhaust system features flames that “look like they were coming out at 12,000 RPM.” The bottom has the words “BREAK” and “GAS” written in the same color as the flames painted on the outside of the shoe. L’art recommends that people who purchase the shoes “drive fast or walk fast while wearing them.”
Although some size options have been sold out since their release, they are still available in limited quantities on L’Art’s official website, with pairs priced at 120 EUR or 126 USD.
