His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Deputy King, highlighted the role of higher education institutions in developing the Kingdom’s workforce and supporting Bahrainis in contributing to progress and development.
His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister will integrate scientific research across educational workstreams, aligning with the latest educational tools that support creativity and innovation, to ensure the contribution of the people to the Kingdom’s broader development goals. He pointed out the importance of this.
Yesterday, His Royal Highness Prince Salman delivered a speech at the Ghudaibiya Palace, welcoming Dr. Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid, the newly appointed Rector of Arabian Gulf University.
His Royal Highness the Vice-King wishes Dr. Saad all the best in carrying out his duties in achieving the university’s goals.
Their Royal Highnesses the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister wished the University success in pursuing its goals and aspirations and praised the University’s contribution to scientific research and health in the GCC through the development of professional medical personnel.
Dr. Al-Fuhaid expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet His Royal Highness and for his support for the University and its educational role. Dr. Saad also prayed for the development and prosperity of the kingdom.
His Highness the Vice King recalled the efforts of the late Dr. Khaled Abdul Rahman Al Ohri, former Rector of the Arabian Gulf University, to promote the progress of the university as a whole.
Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and His Excellency Mohammed bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, also attended the meeting.
